Reza Dea : It’s Fun To Work Based On Your Passion

Reza Dea Asriari, S.ST known as Reza is a midwife in a public health center in Kemuning, Ngargoyoso. She was born in Bandung, 7^th August 1994. She has been working in public health center for 8 months.

She got her Bachelor Degree from Sebelas Maret University (UNS) in 2018. “Being an adult is not easy. So difficult for me to get a job after I graduated from UNS. I’ve joined CPNS test for a second time and I didn’t pass.” Before getting a job in public health center, to spend her free time, she made a business as a makeup artist.

She began her business from her passion in makeup. She started to practice her skill and collect makeup things for her business. She said that she was getting bored and she decided to build this business to spend her free time and get income.

As she works as makeup artist, she often get judgments from people regarding her business that is not related with her degree. “People do not understand how hard it is to get a job and they just judge me without knowing my struggle”, she said.

After a long journey looking for a job, she applied a job as a midwife in public health center Kemuning with makeup artist as her side job. “It’s fun to work based on your passion. So, don’t be afraid to do what you like even though it is not related to your study”, she said.
