ENGNEWS - A fire burnt a room in the boarding house named Kos Laras in Jalan Surya 3, Surakarta. The blaze started at about 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday (8/10/2019). The boarding house where the fire happened was fully occupied by many students.
"Fire officials have determined that was because short circuit in the one of the rooms of the boarding house," said Ara, the neighbor of Kos Laras.
The fire occurred when the boarders went to do their activities, to college and work. The fire was known by the boarders who was still in the boarding house. The fire that occurred in one of the rooms did not spread to the other room because residents and boarders quickly put out the fire.
"All over the room was burnt–the wall, the cupboard, books, etc," he added.
