UNS to Hold an Art and Culture Contest

UNS (Universitas Sebelas Maret) will hold a contest only for student of UNS who has interest in art and culture. This event is called Olimpus Seni Budaya 2019.

What is Olimpus? Olimpus is a range of events held by KBM UNS (Keluarga Besar Mahasiswa UNS). This event is a combination of OSM (Olimpiade Sebelas Maret), FAM (Festival Apresiasi Mahasiswa) and SEF (Sebelas Maret Education Fair). Olimpus consists of sport contest, art contest, science contest, and closed by Student Apreciation. Olimpus has 'GLOR1US' as the theme of the event so that KBM UNS could be active to achieve a glory.

"We hope that we could tighten our relationship as student of UNS, develop student's creativity, apreciate student's achievements from this events" said Fransisca Evi as one of the committee of Olimpus.

Olimpus Seni Budaya will last for six days in 11th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th of October. The registration starting from 11th to 30th of September. Olimpus Seni Budaya 2019 will have three parts of contest. There will be Dance, consists of Traditional dance and Modern dance will take place at The Park Mall Surakarta, Literary Arts, consists of theater at TBJT or Taman Budaya Jawa Tengah, Poetry contest at Faculty of medical and Hifdzil Quran at seminar room of Nurul Huda Mosque UNS, the last one is Art contest, consists of photograpy, painting, poster and short film at Agrobudaya, Tribun and computer lab of Faculty of Art and Design.

"Olimpus is a place where student of UNS could express their skills. In this contest, they could conduct their creativity and develop their potential. For me, this event is worth to join" said Fransisca Evi (Faculty of Law student) as one of the committee of Olimpus event.
